Introduction to Character-Based Leadership for Future Profs

Feb 9, 2026 01:30 PM to 03:30 PM
Online

Registration Deadline: Feb 9, 2026 11:30 AM

Leadership is more than just the position you hold. It is also a matter of disposition - how you show up to face challenges at work, at school, in the classroom, and in other areas of your life. Ivey's Leader Character Framework highlights the importance of character-based leadership and the interplay of eleven dimensions of character that work together to empower and support good judgement and practical wisdom. This session will introduce the Leader Character Framework as an essential resource to support your leadership development, help you to identify and articulate your leadership experiences, and empower you to bring strength of character to your work as future professionals in academia and beyond.

Following this session, participants will be able to:

· Describe 11 dimensions of character-based leadership identified in Ivey's Leader Character Framework

· Identify and articulate personal leadership experiences
