Teaching Dossier Workshop Series - Part 4: Building Your Teaching Dossier: Insights from the Field

Mar 25, 2026 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
On-Campus

Registration Deadline: Mar 25, 2026 08:30 AM

Curious about how to build and strengthen your Teaching Dossier or utilize it for your next big opportunity? Join us for an interactive panel featuring experienced Higher Education professionals who have successfully developed and used their Teaching Dossiers for professional, academic, and awards application purposes. They'll share practical tips, common challenges, and strategies for showcasing your teaching experience. Bring your questions for a Q&A and leave with actionable advice to strengthen your own dossier.

This workshop is the final installment of a four-part series designed to support graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in building a strong, reflective teaching dossier for academic job applications, awards, or professional development. Each session focuses on a key component of the dossier and includes interactive activities to help participants apply what they learn. While participants are encouraged to attend all four workshops for a comprehensive experience, each session is self-contained and can be taken individually.

Presenters: Jenny Foley

Note: Registration closes by 8:30AM March 25th, 2026.

This session qualifies as a Future Prof credit towards the Western Certificate in University Teaching & Learning.
