Providing feedback on student writing is a powerful way to support learning, but it can also be a time-consuming task for graduate educators. This workshop will explore feedback strategies that are meaningful for student writers and manageable for you as a TA or instructor. You will leave with some insights into what matters most when giving feedback on writing, as well as practical strategies for managing your workload.
 
By the end of this session, participants will have the chance to:

  1. Describe key elements of effective writing feedback
  2. Reflect on your experiences of providing writing feedback and its impact on your pedagogical well-being
  3. Practice strategies for useful and manageable writing feedback
