Registration Deadline: Jan 30, 2025 12:00 PM

Are you an international or new resident graduate student or postdoctoral scholar teaching or learning at Western? Join us in a new Community of Practice, called Teaching Connections, created especially for students from around the world and dedicated to fostering growth, support, and collaboration!

This is a space where graduate students and postdoctoral scholars will:

  • Share their experiences and challenges in both teaching and learning.
  • Gain insights from others who understand the unique journey of international graduate students.
  • Develop practical teaching strategies for an intercultural academic environment.
  • Expand their professional network and build lasting relationships with peers across disciplines.

Whether you're looking for advice, new ideas, a space to try new teaching strategies, or simply a place to connect, we invite you to be a part of this vibrant, supportive community. Together, we can celebrate the successes and navigate the challenges of teaching and learning in a new cultural and academic context, while enhancing our professional and personal growth.

Join us and become an active participant in shaping a collaborative and enriching academic experience for international graduate students!
