NOTE: THIS SESSION IS FOR CURRENT INTERNATIONAL OR NEW RESIDENT GRADUATE STUDENTS & POSTDOCS ONLY. All students start on the waitlist - to complete registration, complete the Qualtrics survey in the waitlist confirmation email.
Teaching in the Canadian Classroom (TCC) is a 20-hour certificate program composed of 15 in-person class hours (including 2 microteaching sessions) and 5 hours of asynchronous online work. This program is designed for international and new resident graduate students who want to enhance their teaching through a socio-cultural lens. Classes will run, on campus:
Friday, January 31st 10:00AM - 5:00PM
Saturday, February 1st - 10:00AM - 4:00PM
Sunday, February 2nd 11:00AM - 4:00PM
Microteaching sessions with smaller groups will be organized for the afternoons on days two and three of the program.

Registration Instructions:
1. Select the Register on Waiting List button. You will receive an automated waitlist confirmation email to your Western email account.
2. Complete the Qualtrics survey in the waitlist confirmation email to complete your registration and secure your spot in the program on a first come first serve basis.
3. If there are available spaces in the program, you will receive a registration confirmation email to your Western email account after we receive your completed Qualtrics survey.

Please note: Due to limited enrollment, we are not able to accept everyone who registers on the waitlist. Registration is on a first come first served basis upon completion of the Qualtrics survey. Once the program spots are full, you will remain on the waitlist and will be notified if a spot becomes available. If a spot does not become available for you, we encourage you to register for the next offering of TCC (please see the section "Offered" on the TCC webpage).
Completion of this program counts as a Microteaching credit toward the Western Certificate in University Teaching and Learning.
