This event is offered as part of the Own Your Future program's Communication & Relationship Building curriculum in partnership with the Writing Support Centre. 

Remove yourself from daily distractions and focus your time exclusively on writing! The Dissertation and Thesis Writers' Retreat provides graduate students with dedicated time for intensive writing. Participating in the retreat can help you make significant progress in writing your dissertation or thesis while establishing good writing habits.

Coffee, tea and water will be provided. Please bring your lunch.

Dates: June 9 & 10, 2026, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM ET 
Location: IGAB 1N05 (International and Graduate Affairs Building)
Eligibility: Graduate students working on a dissertation or thesis
