Please join us for The Western Institute for Research on Teaching and Learning, a three-day hands-on workshop designed to support faculty members, librarians, and archivists in the development of a research project on their own teaching. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss basic issues in doing research on teaching and learning in post-secondary education (e.g., research paradigms, methodologies, research ethics, making findings public). Participants will also work individually and/or in small groups to develop their own projects. Experienced Scholarship of Teaching and Learning researchers will facilitate the institute and will also provide individual consultation as requested. Enrolment is limited.
Facilitated by Heather Campbell and Ken Meadows.
Please note that program participants are required to attend the full three days of the workshop, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day.
The program is restricted to full and part-time faculty members, librarians, and archivists.
