The Instructional Designer Community of Practice (IDCoP) is for instructional designers at Western who design online learning programs and serves as a collaborative space where instructional design professionals share expertise, insights, and best practices.

The primary goal of the IDCoP is to foster a supportive environment and encourage continuous learning and knowledge exchange in the field of online instructional design for higher education. By bringing together the diverse experiences of instructional designers at Western, the IDCoP aims to enhance the quality of online programs at Western, while promoting effective processes and evidence-based strategies.
